A Private School Experience in a Public School Setting

Educational Technology Contract Information

Lyme-Old Lyme Public Schools is committed to protecting the privacy of its community. We collect and use data from our students and staff in order to inform instruction and improve student engagement and learning. In some cases, that data is not stored on our servers, but on those belonging to vendors who host particular services.

Vendors with which we partner must comply with the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and many have signed the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Student Privacy Pledge. However, companies with which we sign or renew contracts must also comply with Connecticut's Student Data Privacy Act of 2016 (PA 16-189).

The list below provides details for services which are currently used. It includes links to privacy policies and terms of use, and whether or not the vendor has signed CTEdTech's Student Data Privacy Pledge. In addition, a brief description of the service, of the student data collected and a copy of the agreement that was signed are included.
