Annual Due Process and Policy Notifications

Many state and federal laws require that public school districts provide students, families and staff with information on certain policies and notices. While much of this information is shared through school handbooks and other ongoing communications, the District officially fulfills its annual due process notification by calling attention to that information which it is obligated to share. You will find required notice statements and referenced policies in this notice (see links below). All referenced policies can be accessed through the District’s website (http://www.region18.org/page.cfm?p=32) under the Board of Education policy link. You will also find additional policies on the website regarding the District’s programs and operations. Please refer to these as necessary.

The Lyme-Old Lyme Board of Education, in compliance with federal and state statutes, affirms its policy of equal educational opportunity for all students and equal employment opportunity for all persons.
