Students

The Lyme-Old Lyme Public School System uses a variety of comprehensive district data tools to measure individual student performance and cohort performance to assess the overall effectiveness of our K-12 instructional practices.

We are proud of the strength of our students' test scores and continually strive to help our students learn.  Following recent groups ("cohorts") of students as they move up through the grade levels, we can see CMT scores continually improve as they move from fourth to sixth to eighth grade testing.  Our eighth grade CMT student performance is some of the strongest in our region. Our 10th graders state CAPT scores are also exceptional. Our students' SAT scores are in the top ten percent of Connecticut high schools.
