IMPACT

Investigating Multipule Professions in Art, Culinary and Technology

Open to students in grades 7 & 8 - Taught by Unified Arts Team

The UA IMPACT program is designed to help each student make a connection between the classroom and the world around them.  Through hands-on activities, projects, field trips, guest speakers and class assignments, students will observe and gain a more global understanding of the concept of service, community, and career fields.  This understanding will be based on the interests and talents of students and how they relate to a possible career choice.

The class is co-taught by the Art, Family Consumer Sciences, and Technology Education teachers.  The curriculum is flexible and changes every year for a new and unitque experience.

We do things likeOrineteering and Map Making, Cake Decorating, Photoshop and Graphics, Architecture, and many Service Projects.
